Modeling the Sherman Tank in 1/72nd Scale

The Sherman Tank Hull

This is pretty much just a summary page that takes information from other pages, and provides it here in a tabular format showing which companies produce kits with the different hull shapes. (I have included only companies that are still in business, though some of their individual products may be out of production.) I've categorized the hull shapes into three styles:

  • early 56° w/direct vision slots,
  • early 56° w/periscopes, and
  • late 47° big-hatch hulls.

These tables do an excellent job at showing the holes in kit availability. You all may notice that one of the tables is mostly empty in both columns.
