| For this conversion
kit, Modell Trans converted a Dragon M4A2 early hull by
adding the direct vision slots in front of the crew's
armored hoods, replacing the built-in periscopes from the
plastic kit. The work was expertly done, and this hull
piece will be a drop fit onto a Dragon M4A2 Sherman kit.
Fitting other kits may be problematic, as it seems that
not two plastic Sherman kits are exactly the same size
(and this is also true between Dragon kits). There are no
casting flaws in the resin, just a couple of broken
fender parts, the pieces of which are still in the
zip-lock bag.
